Maximum file size: 30MB, but we recommend under 1MB for fast loading. How much you save depends on the format: a JPG or WebP re-encoded at 80% quality usually drops 30-70%, an opaque PNG converts to JPG for a similar cut, and a PNG with transparency stays lossless — there, only a smaller Max Width shrinks the file.

How to Use

  1. Upload your image (JPG, PNG, or WebP supported)
  2. Set the max width, output format and quality, then click Optimize Image
  3. Review the before/after comparison and file size reduction
  4. Download the optimized version for your ad campaigns

Frequently Asked Questions

JPG, PNG and WebP go in. By default the output follows the input: JPG in, JPG out; WebP in, WebP out; a PNG with transparency stays PNG; an opaque PNG converts to JPG so the quality slider can shrink it. The Output Format control overrides all of that. Meta accepts JPG and PNG for ad creatives, so choose WebP for a landing page rather than an ad upload.

Feed ads: 1080x1080 (1:1) or 1080x1350 (4:5). Stories/Reels: 1080x1920 (9:16). Maximum file size: 30MB, but we recommend under 1MB for fast loading.

No. All processing happens directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your device. This tool is completely private.

It depends on the format, and the result panel shows the real number after every run. JPG and WebP re-encode at the quality you choose — usually 30-70% smaller at 80%. PNG output is lossless, so a transparent PNG only shrinks when Max Width resizes it, and re-encoding an already-optimized PNG can add bytes, which the panel reports as "Larger".

Currently the tool processes one image at a time. For bulk optimization, consider using the AdLauncher platform which handles image optimization automatically during campaign creation.
